Closed-minded People

There are alot of closed-minded people everywhere. I have a chatfriend from Scotland who claims Sonic is real, and she doesn't accept the fact that Sonic is fiction. I have a acquaintant who is sadomasochistic who has no desire to hear what other has to say.

Enlightenment vs. Resistance.

I have been resisting to see their point that they may say that I am close-minded from their perspective. The only way is to acknowledge and accept them for who they are. In one of the messages of the latter I described in the 1st paragraph, I felt quite disturbed and that made me think, that I was in fact in the very same perspective of those reader who read these posts when I write negative thoughts.

The more you change them, the more they are closed-minded. They do not accept any help or inspirations from others because they realize that they want to assert the fact that they are who they are and nothing will change them aside from themselves.

All this time, I have been more manipulative than helping, which is horrible. Even you try your best to enlighten these people, it will never work. This is the reason why these people have very few friends. I admit that I was sometimes close-minded, but not all the time.

I hate being problematic to other people, I am just concerned and empathetic to other people. When will they open their hearts and minds and realize what kind of person they are? I don't know. They lack self-reflection and careful introspection. So, let me say to those people who are dealing with close-minded people, ACCEPT THEM as part of the society. Even you don't like them like this, they will not change unless they allowed themselves to and powerfully defend themselves.

Alot of people do not acknowledge the other perspectives, because they think that their perspective is the most important which is inconsiderate and asymmetric. I do this alot and never realized it. Really!

This closed-mindedness develops ignorance. They are trying to deny the facts and truths. They are not skeptics.

Ignorance and Skepticism are different. Ignorance is illogical while, Skepticism is logical. They have this fantasy to stay in one ground for a very long time without external interventions. This makes them safe. If they are intervened by someone they will get hyperactively defensive with that person. They are defending their beliefs, their stature and their personality from undesired manipulators.

So, this is why they are closed-minded. Let them experience the realization of enlightenment themselves, only then, they will see the authentic happiness. In short. Let them be until they open up.

Superiority-Inferiority reflection

This is another reflection we must all be aware off. You must not feel inferior unless you allowed yourself to be inferior. Inferiority delays things thus actions are procrastinated. We wonder about ourselves when we feel inferior.

Inferiority = Egotism
Superiority = Altruism and Egotism

We are trying to find the faults of actions inside us, neglecting external forces and concerns which makes us apathetic. Apathy= a person who has no concern on the community.

Egotism becomes egocentrism. This egocentrism heightens public self-awareness into soaring heights in the same time our self-image and self-esteem decreases into the great depths of the ocean. And alot of people out there don't like egocentric people because they always talk about themselves. This makes interpersonal love conditional.

Alot of people are afraid to make mistakes. Like I said before, People are made perfectly but not made to be perfect. If we don't make mistakes and perfect almost all of the time, we wouldn't be able to discover the faults and improve well. If these people are afraid, then they have no means whatsoever to take any risks or opportunities. It will waste their time if they don't take risks. There are more inferior people than superior people. It is best to go out of your comfort zones.

So, that is why that that quote is true.

Revisitation to the Sucat Community

I came back to Sucat last Friday, the day after my recital. Recently, I had something like homesick. Not sure though. I have had colds and partially slight temperature alterations since the day after my arrival.

Last Sunday, there was a weekly feast with my cousins, my aunt, which is usual. I stayed up with them until 2:00 AM internet cafe. Geez! I slept at 4:00 AM. My cousins are moving soon so, they want to embrace the time till the end.

At around 11:00 PM of Sunday, I have realized that one of my right toenails broke with accidental partial avulsion. Maybe, I broke it a few hours before. Ay! It is quite sensitive.

Now, it is 4:24 PM, After I type here, I will be going home to cure my homesickness. LOL I will be returning right after my enrollment for the 1st semester of AY 2009-2010. The reason for my return is the event of commemoration in the memory of my paternal grandfather Gen. Mayo who passed away on May 31, 2008, 2 days after the 2nd death anniversary of my guardian whom I call Uncle Vic.

Life goes on as it should happen, the time of mourning should not be interferred in the time of action.

Soviet remnants

The greatest remnants of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) still possess that Soviet spirit in their national anthems.

The unity of Leninism and Stalinism was destroyed at 1991 and replaced by CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States. Death to Soviet Communism and vengeance for Global Capitalism. May dictatorship of those days not return.

A selected reflection of life.

This is a very true quote. In short, TAKE THE RISK!!! Because you will never know what happens beyond if you do not take the risk. "Curiosity kills" unless you take the responsibility of that curiosity.

Do reflect on this and you will understand the significance of positive internal motivation.

2 confirmed cases of H1N1 in the Philippines

This torturous epidemic is still growing to amazing heights. It is now in the Philippines.

We shall hope that this epidemic will not soar to something deadly. As I said in the previous post, this virus will re-mutate soon. The mutated form can never go back to the very same pre-mutated form again due to genetic complexities.

Surely the DOH (Department of Health) are doing everything to calm things down. The world will not lose against this epidemic and that is the ultimate assurance of affirmation.

Unfinished life and Finished Life

If I die today or very soon in my young life, I would like to let everyone know in my life that I was once a part of their life meaningfully. I would choose to be cremated and be contained in a urn. Death is very inevitable and time will never return. Once passed, never to be seen again naturally, Unless there is an artificial temporal intervention or manipulation.

I don't want to die for a mistake (like Rizal) but to die for a cause (like the martyrs of this world). I can sacrifice my life for my loved ones (if I have the courage to do so).

I want to experience all what I can experience in this lifetime without the illness of fear torturing me. I still fear death that I have no idea what the world be like.

I will not die for nothing but something massively significant. Anything can happen, we just have to anticipate the unpredictable circumstances.

When I die with a complete life, let my friends remember me for who will I bee in the future. My supposed future family will always believe and trust for what kind of man I will be.

After all, for every event there is a beginning and a end. After the end of that event comes a new beginning which is the beginning of a new event. So, there is this series of events that are chronologically infinite.

I will spend my last days confessing my faults to those people I painfully offended. Be open to new things that re-incarnation is a possibility.

Being a respected and a dignified person is what I want to be, not the future alternative self of gangstership. Let simplicity rule over complexity. Whether or not, all people are destined to die at the end.

Take note that I will never commit myself to the morbidity of suicidal grotesqueness, nor homicidal insanity. I am typing these things because I want the world to know that death is not a choice but an obligation to submit yourself to the supreme being.

True Meaning of Love

Grand workshop culmination and reflections

Indeed, the workshop has culminated well with graduation. I knew I have done my best in the recital and it was fantastic. I didn't forget any lines but there are some very minor lapses.

I realized that on backstage I was gradually relaxing with my heart still beating fast. But as I went to the stage area, I subconsciously shift that nervousness with excitement and with confidence.

As sir Roeder said "Energy follows thought", so we received the energy from the dance workshop performance and we really did put that energy to a boost.

Now, I know that nothing is without an audience, but an audience makes a difference in the performance, because the energy of their presence is focused on the performers when they watch. I have felt that energy.

Between Easter Monday and yesterday, has been a memorable period for all the workshoppers. I told them this: "This will be our future memory which we will be reminiscing in a few months time."

I am very glad that I had a chance to know them all well. I am pleased that if I wouldn't be there I would not experience the epiphany of social comradeship, interaction and acting enhancement.

"Break a leg, Break a arm and break your neck". There you go, I finished the line where typical actors used to say.

I have a conclusion that Procrastination, Ningas Cogon (Initial enthusiasm transforms into final boredom), Laziness are the factors contributing to the workshopper's ability during the workshop. At the end there will always be a success with an audience. No matter how bad the critical period of rehearsals are, the show will always be great.

Energy is the motivator, breathing is the mean and the performance is the end. Without breathing, we cannot perform theatrically and vocally.

Even the closest moments with another person in the workshop is treasured with glee. That life one person must co-exist with life of another person.


To the workshoppers:

Always remember that Sir Roeder and Sir Onyl are the ones who transformed us into a magnificent butterfly of confidence through workshop metamorphosis. You helped me understand and grow in the journey of life. We as one unit for the summer, was a fairly trans-cultural interaction and definitely no lapses and some bad times. We pushed each other up to the sky when the others are down. These are the benefits of this group.
