MBTI (Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator)
Extravert vs. Introvert
Sensing vs. iNtuition

Pls. note that this test is only 75% accurate. Actually, no psychological test can ever be 95 to 100% accurate.
I-Introvert
N-iNuition
F-Feeling
P-erceiving
I must say, that this type is among the rarest of all types. Actually the MBTI Test is only 75% accurate. ISFP's are truely romantic and against criticism. Well, everyone has their own certain specific variations. We have a heart of an angel but a mind of a philosopher and a writer.
I am very introverted but sometimes extraverted with certain people. I admit that I am not very artistic, but that is probably hidden within me. I don't really get along very much with people of other types. I am not very confortable on speaking to many people fearing of strange reactions. I feel that I have the ability to help and to understand others through empathy.
The following are the profiles about the INFP's
INFPs are introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginitive, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.
"To understand Healers, we must understand their idealism as almost boundless and selfless, inspiring them to make extraordinary sacrifices for someone or something they believe in. The Healer is the Prince or Princess of fairytale, the King's Champion or Defender of the Faith..."
- The Portrait of a Healer Idealist (Keirsey)
"INFPs are highly intuitive about people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them, and use their discoveries to constantly search for value in life. They are on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through the INFP's value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help the INFP define or refine their own path in life."
- Portrait of an INFP
(The Personality Page)"creative, smart, idealist, loner, attracted to sad things, disorganized, avoidant, can be overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings..."
- INFP Jung Type Descriptions
(similarminds.com)"An INFP's feelings form the foundations of the individual. They are sacred and binding, in the sense that their emergence requires no further justification. An INFP's feelings are often guarded, kept safe from attack and ridicule. Only a few, close confidants are permitted entrance into this domain."
- INFP Profile (INFP Mailing List)
"Highly creative, artistic and spiritual, they can produce wonderful works of art, music and literature. INFPs are natural artists. They will find great satisfaction if they encourage and develop their artistic abilities. That doesn't mean that an INFP has to be a famous writer or painter in order to be content. Simply the act of "creating" will be a fulfilling source of renewal and refreshment to the INFP. An INFP should allow himself or herself some artistic outlet, because it will add enrichment and positive energy to their life."
- INFP Personal Growth (The Personality Page)
"INFPs never seem to lose their sense of wonder. One might say they see life through rose-colored glasses. It's as though they live at the edge of a looking-glassworld where mundane objects come to life, where flora and fauna take on near-human qualities."
- INFP Profile (TypeLogic)
"Their job must be fun, although not racous, and it must be meaningful to them. They need a strong purpose in their work. They want to be recognized and valued, without undue attention given to them. They may become embarrassed when make the center of attention. As a result, they may undersell their strengths in order to avoid being singled out and made to feel conspicuous. They would rather have their worth be noticed gradually over time."

POSITIVE TRAITS- The strongest element of your character is your ability to find pastimes that fill your life with joy and happiness. You are irreplaceable when it comes to organising leisure time and entertainment. You are in your creative element when surrounded by beauty, a warm atmosphere, good company and good food. You really know how to enjoy life. You prefer spending your leisure time with friends, family and among nature rather than in more physical activities. You are a peaceful and diplomatic person and know well how to avoid confrontations and conflicts. You know how to make others happy. You always try to uplift any situation, turning negative into positive. You have patience for others inability's and shortcomings. When you interact with others you are always tactful, polite and do not like to pressurise or push people.
NEGATIVE TRAITS- One of your problems is a lack of foresight. When undertaking a project you are not always able to accurately assess its future potential and therefore you often expect to see a return in the short term. Where projects are concerned, you also have a tendency to confuse what you wish to see with what is actually there, so others may think you are not a serious person. You do not like officialdom and formality, instead you prefer to deal with people in an informal way. Your major problem is a lack of motivation and the ability to push yourself when it comes to work matters, especially where uninteresting yet essential tasks are involved. Sometimes you make promises that you cannot keep.

BOLD- means that This is what I can do.
INFPs present a calm, pleasant face to the world. They appear to be tranquil and peaceful to others, with simple desires. In fact, the INFP internally feels his or her life intensely. In the relationship arena, this causes them to have a very deep capacity for love and caring which is not frequently found with such intensity in the other types. The INFP does not devote their intense feelings towards just anyone, and are relatively reserved about expressing their inner-most feelings. They reserve their deepest love and caring for a select few who are closest to them. INFPs are generally laid-back, supportive and nurturing in their close relationships. With Introverted Feeling dominating their personality, they're very sensitive and in-tune with people's feelings, and feel genuine concern and caring for others. Slow to trust others and cautious in the beginning of a relationship, an INFP will be fiercely loyal once they are committed. With their strong inner core of values, they are intense individuals who value depth and authenticity in their relationships, and hold those who understand and accept the INFP's perspectives in especially high regard. INFPs are usually adaptable and congenial, unless one of their ruling principles has been violated, in which case they stop adapting and become staunch defenders of their values. They will be uncharacteristically harsh and rigid in such a situation.
Most INFPs will exhibit the following strengths with regards to relationship issues:
1. Warmly concerned and caring towards others
2. Sensitive and perceptive about what others are feeling
3. Loyal and committed - they want lifelong relationships
4. Deep capacity for love and caring
5. Driven to meet other's needs
6. Strive for "win-win" situations
7. Nurturing, supportive and encouraging
8. Likely to recognize and appreciate other's need for space
9. Able to express themselves well
10. Flexible and diverse
Most INFPs will exhibit the following weaknesses with regards to relationship issues:
1. May tend to be shy and reserved
2. Don't like to have their "space" invaded
3. Extreme dislike of conflict
4. Extreme dislike of criticism
5. Strong need to receive praise and positive affirmation
6. May react very emotionally to stressful situations
7. Have difficulty leaving a bad relationship
8. Have difficulty scolding or punishing others
9. Tend to be reserved about expressing their feelings
10. Perfectionistic tendancies may cause them to not give themselves enough credit
11. Tendency to blame themselves for problems, and hold everything on their own shoulders
Dominant Introverted Feeling (Fi): INFPs live primarily in a rich inner world of emotion. (STRONGEST)
Auxiliary Extraverted Intuition (Ne): INFPs engage the outside world primarily with intuition, adept at seeing the big picture, sensing patterns and the flow of existence from the past toward the future.
Tertiary Introverted Sensing (Si): This function gives INFPs a natural inclination toward absent-mindedness and makes them more easily distracted.
Inferior Extraverted Thinking (Te): This function helps INFPs focus on external details but, being the inferior function, requires the expenditure of greater energy and is not as reliable.(WEAKEST)

SOCIONICS OF INFP
Socionics is a relatively young and dynamically developing branch of psychology which is based on Carl Jung's work on Psychological Types, Freud's theory of the conscious and unconscious, and Antoni Kepinski's theory of information metabolism.
Socionics was founded by a Lithuanian woman and the researcher Aushra Augustinavichute in the 70s, when she combined different knowledge of the human psyche into one structural theory and then the model. The real development of Socionics occurred in the 80s.
Socionics is based upon the idea that a person's character acts like a set of blocks called "psychological functions". Different ways of combining and chaining these functions result in different ways of accepting and producing information, which in turn results in different behavior patterns and thus different character types.
S-Type:INFP
TIM: IEI
Fn: NiFe (iNtuition-Introvert, Feeling-Extravert)
TIM Extended: Intuitive-Ethical Intratim
Nickname: The Romantic
Original Russian: Esenin
S-Type: Socionics Type. This is not an MBTI(r) equivalent, although it looks similar. All the capital letters practically mean the same as those in MBTI(r) acronym, apart from the small j/p, which has a different meaning than the capital J/P in MBTI.
TIM: Type of Information Metabolism. More precise definition of the word Type and the way it is used in Socionics. Three letter acronym is an abbreviation of the extended description of TIM (See TIM Extended).
Fn: Type representation by 2 main functions, Dominant and Auxiliary, also used by MBTI(r) practitioners. The capital letter refers to the function (F-Feeling, N-Intuition, etc.) whereas the small letter refers to whether this function is intro- or extroverted. For example Se is Extroverted Sensing, Ti is Introverted Thinking.
TIM Extended: The most desirable way of calling the Types in Socionics. The fist two words describe the first two main functions of the type that form the Ego block. For example Sensory-Logical means 1st function is Sensing and 2nd is Thinking (Logic) and Ethical-Intuitive means that 1st function is Feeling (Ethics) and 2nd is Intuition. The last word defines whether it is Extrovert or Introvert by introducing two specific terms: Extratim and Intratim. The -tim bit is most likely attributed to the TIM (See TIM). The reason for introducing two different words being that Extrovert and Introvert also have other definitions in English language, opening a possibility for misinterpretation.
Nickname: Some of the nicknames used to refer to Socionics Types.
Original Russian: These nicknames have been used by the Socionics enthusiasts in Russia for a long time. The Russian nicknames supposedly link the types to some famous people, however some of them have also been largely debated as incorrect.
Extratim means "Extravert Type of Information Metabolism"
Intratim means "Introvert type of Information Metabolism"
INFP's natural partner is the ENFJ, or the ESFJ. INFP's dominant function of Introverted Feeling is best matched with a partner whose dominant function is Extraverted Feeling. The INFP/ENFJ combination is ideal, because it shares the Sensing way of peceiving, but the INFP/ESFJ combination is also a good match.
But according to the socionics through this site , ENTP + INFP is the most favorable kind of relationship.
Socionics shall be used to minimize marital break-ups. As for the case of a INFP, should he or she part up with either ENFJ, ENTP or ESFJ?
Maybe. But, You should look into their types.
I conclude that I am an INFP with 75% accuracy. Remember, we are artists, writers and caregivers. We tend to be very romantic. This separates us from the rest of the types.
